This is one of the rarest Lotus Cortinas in the world, virtually one-of-a-kind. Alongside
the manufacture of the factory Team Lotus cars, a small handful of competition spec
examples were delivered to privateers and this is the only one known to exist. All
documented by factory and period paperwork and authenticated by the Lotus Cortina
Register. It is presented with all the correct equipment and in immaculate condition
with all numbers matching the factory invoice.











The engines were specially built for Lotus by Cosworth and the cars featured many
performance upgrades in addition to the usual Lotus modifications.

7070KO was specialist restored in the 90s then acquired into the world's foremost
collection of Lotus Cortinas (Trevor Barefoot). Originally raced in period by first owner
David Haynes (running his personal reg no. 250DBH) it today shows a mere 32,000
miles on the clock, documented by paperwork included with the car. Race and
maintenance history is also provided as is the owners' handbook, authentic green
logbook and British V5 registration.
